Curtain Care
As there are different types of curtains available in the market today, it is important that one is aware of the maintenance and care each of the type needs in order to look its best. Linen Curtains are best cleaned by dry cleaning as it retains the natural crisp finish of the fabric. If you prefer to soften the crisp feel of your linen curtain, you can opt to wash it by hand with mild soap. Avoid using chlorinated washing products such as detergent with bleach. Silk Curtains are also better cleaned by dry cleaning yet it can also be hand washed using mild soap and lukewarm water. Curtains made from cotton can be cleaned by machine washing and then put on a low tumble level of machine dryer.
